BrunoloVini is a brand new project by Clement van Dijk, with over 20 years of experience in Italian wines.
This new project naturally had to be connected to Italian wines, but only the finest gems from Italy's enormous diversity. Exclusively Brunello di Montalcino and Barolo wines. Also completely new is the introduction of a subscription service specifically for true enthusiasts of these Italian gems.
First, a little trip down memory lane. In October 2004, I, Clement van Dijk, wanted to do something with my passion for Italy and wine. The result was the launch of Villa Fattoria (fattoria.nl), the online wine shop for the finest Italian wines.
Over the past 20 years, I've made many friends with Italian winemakers. My passion for Italy has led me to visit these producers frequently and become part of a fantastic network of "friends" of Italian winemakers. I've also seen and experienced how such a network of friends works in Italy. It's easy to get into the finest and best wineries.
With the sale of Villa Fattoria in mid-2024, after 20 years, my work for Villa Fattoria came to an end. My passion for the finest Italian wines and my love of Italy have, of course, remained.
I have chosen to pursue my passion in a new project.
This new project naturally had to align with my "favorite wines." The wonderful Tuscan Brunello di Montalcino and the fantastic Barolos from Piedmont. These wines are our focus in this new project. The name BrunoloVini is a portmanteau of Brunello and Barolo .
When you embark on a new project, you want a unique concept. We've chosen to give true Brunello and Barolo enthusiasts the opportunity to purchase their beloved wines at a special price. They can buy these fantastic wines at a "friends' price."
Brunello and Barolo enthusiasts can become members of the Amici Grandi Vini. Members always receive a 15% discount on their purchases, and all orders are shipped free of charge. To become a member of Amici Grandi Vini, you pay an annual membership fee of €95. A quick calculation shows that you can recoup the cost of this membership with about 6 to 12 bottles per year. This Amici discount is calculated on our competitive online prices. So, you always pay 15% less than our online prices. Furthermore, the special wines in our selection will be available exclusively to Amici.
Good to know that all wines can be ordered by the bottle. For example, you could buy three bottles of four different wines. This way, you can create your own selection and blend. The choice is yours.
We launched this new project in the second half of 2024. We've already made a start on building our product range. However, with our many contacts in Italy, this range will certainly expand. Naturally, this will take some time. You can be assured that our selection will be of the highest and best quality. Many more beautiful top wines will be added to our range regularly, which you can also purchase at attractive prices.
